ISO Recorder is a free and simple program which allows you to burn ISO CD images on to a CD or DVD drive or create an ISO image from the contents of a disc.
After you've installed ISO Recorder, you will not actually have a user interface to access from the Start Menu. Instead, you can access ISO Recorder directly from the Windows Explorer context menu where you will find all of its functions. From there, you can "Copy image to CD/DVD" or "Create image from CD/DVD".
Thus, you can use this application to copy the contents of an ISO image to an optical disc or grab the contents of an optical disc to create an ISO and thus a backup.
Not too much else to say about ISO Recorder, but the fact that it's hidden in the context menus for when you need it and not a flashy desktop icon is a welcome surprise.ISO Recorder features and highlights:
